Effect of PhET Virtual Laboratory Implementation on Students’ Higher Order Thinking Skills

This study aimed to know the effect of using PhET virtual laboratory towards students’ higher order thinking skills on linear motion. research is quasy experimental that uses static group pretest-posttest design. The population this all grade VIII students MTsN mbon in academic year 2021/2022 and sample VIII4 as VIII5 control determined by simple random sampling technique. instrument used collect data test HOTs made terms multiple choices test. analyzed statistical formula N-gain t-test SPSS 26. result 0.40 0.19. shows tcount 7.762 ≥ ttable 2.000. It means there a significant difference Therefore, it can be concluded use laboratorial has positive high skill motion
